Hiyas we camped in February this year ....must say it must have been the best weekend in February ever lol. We are planning to camp in Novemeber at the 'Hopleys meet' im sure if you go prepared for the cold you would be fine ...but all that said  you know yourself what you & your family would enjoy or endure ! lol.

Go for it! Not sure if it`s been mentioned before but the cold coming up from the ground is important to remember. There`s no point having lots of blankets ontop of you as the cold will rise up and keep you cool no matter what. If you`re using an air bed, put some foam mats underneath and some sort of quilted blanket under your body. I`ve got into my wildcamping lately and use lightweight camping mats with good thermal properties and I`ve noticed a huge difference from my regular airbed.
