Hi Kat67 I could be wrong  as I don't want to mislead anybody over something like carbon monoxide poisoning, but I think that was a tent heater that took that life last year. Anyway we would only use gas after everyone was up and dressed and outside tent. And as far as gas heaters for tents go we would never buy something so dangerous. A few years back our granddaughter was given the use of an electric blanket, and I was not happy about it and complained bitterly to her dad who blow me off with " it's only used to warm her bed before she sleeps " And yes I hate being right a few months later we had a phone call and was told Emma had a lucky escape after she had felt cold in the night and switched it back on and it had  caught fire. So We would never use anything gas or electric to warm our tent, it's just not worth it.
