In wales for Jubes weekend, it rained all day on the sunday, and I decided to sit and cross stitch, while OH read the kindle.
We prepared ourselves well... radio on, 2 packets of biscuits and 2 flasks of tea, blankets, slippers and got snuggled in.
The only problem was that after 7 hours solidly cross stitching, my back decided to laugh at the notion of sitting up/standing up/laying down and I was in agony.
The only thing that usually soothes my back is hot water, so OH had to take me to the shower block (walking like a 90 yr old in a pink cow print onesie) and come in the family unit with me, and physically put me in the shower! Gawd knows what people thought we were up to in there!! Lol
