We once forgot to pack the airbeds. Tent was up and starting to put all our stuff in, and daughter asked wheres the airbeds (this used to be her job to pump them up).

We were 1 1/2 hours from home, so i jumped in the car and went back home and got them. Just got back to the site as it was getting dark!!!!!

Awning poles on our old TT! although in our defence they never did materialise .

We had only just bought it and it was our first camp out, most TTs are useable without the awning but ours had no 'standing space' between bedrooms they came straight out into the awning so really a necessity in the cold and wet (which it was). As we couldn't contact the seller and it was over an hours drive back we bought a cheap £20 gazebo and just put it up under the awning canvas, not pretty but functional for the few days we were there.
