Never EVER lend a tent out. Not to family, friends, or even the pope.
I have never received a lent tent back in the same condition as when lent out.
I had an old canvas tent for nearly 20 years. It was in brilliant condition. Waterproof, great built in groundsheet. Top tent.
Lent it out for one week. Checked a few days after it was returned. Absolutely destroyed. It had been put away wet. Mould covered 100% of it. Crying shame.
Bought a lovely new Vango. Not the same though. It doent smell like a canvas tent!!!
