You'd probably be better off with some blue so it breaks the solids down. Though if you are not bothered by that, then disinfectant well be fine.
To be honest, it'll only be myself using it, and it'll be emptied right away after a number two so I'd guess a drop or two of disinfectant would suffice

It is more environmentally friendly to deposit the contents of your wee bucket (Urine only, no additives or disinfectants) under a bush than it is to empty in the toilet. Urine is a good fertilizer.
It's great for accelerating the composting process. Men's wee is better for this than women's wee, and I just don't understand why Mr Fran steadfastly refuses to go up the garden and pee on the compost heap.
Its all well and good for you blokes who stand up and have a fair clear distance between your body bits and the liquid in the bucket, but please be careful of any chemical splashes up into the tender regions if you happen to be a sitting lady or a small child using this type of loo, for this reason strong disinfectent or bleach ect should be used with extreme caution!

Looked at getting a bucket toilet, but the Kampa Portaflush chemical toilet wasn't much bigger than the Kampa Khazi, so we went with that.
Eco toilet chemicals are good enough for us - weekend camping/night time use. I'm sure it would work as well in a bucket toilet. No chemical smell. Safe and easy to dispose of. Certainly good enough for urine.
