We're looking for exactly the same thing - something to replace our Vermont XLP which expired this summer. We may just buy a new one but would love to go polycotton as we use it in sunny South West France mainly. If you go for a Vermont, get the UV protector! It wasn't available when we bought our tent, and after 5 summers, the roof material was so brittle from UV damage that a finger pressing on the taught material went right through it and split the material.
