well I managed to use the cool box in anger this weekend. it did what I needed keeping everything cold. I don't think you can get better without using a powered cooler.

the size is just right for me so im glad I did not order a larger one.

we set out Friday morning and returned today (Sunday). if we had stayed any longer we would have it would have needed a new ice pack or ice. But I did kill it off by adding cans of beer straight from the supermarket shelf into the cooler last night but the beer was cold by the time I drank it.

overall a big thumbs up and will last me many years.

I did buy 2 small ice packs from icey tek and they do seem to last longer than the standard type
