Even as a child in Africa, I used to love the thunderstorms and run outside!! (Apparently, that's odd.... )

My daughter spent her first four years listening to apocalyptic spring thunderstorms in Lesotho in a house with a tin roof; could have scarred her for life, but she doesn't bat an eyelid at it fortunately!
