My kids use their rucksacks from school, and they are responsible for their own,while Oh and I have a holdall each. All dirty stuff goes into the sleeping bags stuff sacks until end of trip, when they get shoved back into holdall/rucksack, or sometimes with three boys we do run out but quiick trip to laundrette solves that.

Also helps that we have a spare pod that all this sort of stuff goes into.

Tesco do packs of large press and seal bag in their clingfilm/foil sections. You can write on them with biro. I put each persons undies and socks in individual bags, tops, nightclothes etc. When you seal them you can squeeze all the air out of them like those vacuum bags (but easier) which makes them smaller to pack and it means that if you have more than one child you can tell whose clothes are whose.

We keep all the clothes in big holdalls and dirty washing in a bin bag. Shoes go in the porch and jackets stay in the car. We have a wynnster rotary airer (fantastic bit of kit) for wet towels and swimmies.
