Re C & C C - as far as I know they don't have a singles section. A group of us did try to get one off the ground 4 years ago but we were told by the Club that they had enough sections already and didn't see a need for it.

Sorry bordercaz, I was meaning just singles for those of us whose children have flown the nest.
I was hoping to get across to the recent meet at Moffat, not far from where I live, but unfortunately I had prior commitments up that weekend.

The solos meets are for anyone who camps on their own, with or without children, and we always get a mix of both. Some couples join us as well.

Having said that, all the ukcs meets welcome everyone regardless and I have not been to a meet yet that didn't have solo campers as well as couples and families.
