we were going to go away this weekend for 2 nights.  As we have only been camping once as a full family, we were really looking forward to it.  Like some of you, we were not going to let a bit of rain spoil the planned weekend, but after seeing flood warnings, we have decided there will be no fun in being wet, cold and possibly washed away.

Camping is supposed to be fun, chilled and away from it all in the open air, is it not.  So stuck inside a tent being MADE to sit on top of each other for 50 hours, can not be FUN.

Fingers crossed for next weekend

Lorna

rang St Neots campsite, and they not taking any bookings at present due to flooding. They say the severe rain this week has flooded site, and they are waiting for it to start to drain away. Hoping situation improves for end of the month instead now!

By the way, I live near Kettering, and people were being rescued from the floods by boat in the middle of town last week! Crazy weather!!!
