Well our first tent is a Vaude Monolith which is fab, but sadly getting too small for us (2 adults and 3 small kids), but bought when hubby and I first got together.

Second is a Mountain hardware 2 man which, believe it or not, swapped for a pair of hair straighteners!!!, fantastic tent but too small.

And just confirmed purchase of a second hand Raclet frame tent, which should be fab, but a bit nervous as to how it is going to fit in our car along with the kids and everything else :-). The Vaude might just have to go to fund the latest addition...

Oops, Im so sorry the tent hasn't turned up, what a bummer! Have you managed to get hold of the company this morning? If so, what have they said? Not really sure what to advise, tbh it's too late now anyway, isn't it? Or could you still set off, albeit late?

Certainly take your business elsewhere, they don't deserve it!

LOL I seem to have hi jacked this thread

Well I just got back from picking up my daughter. Set off at 10.30 this morning and got back at 7.30pm. My lovely neighbour was waiting for me when I got back - he signed for the tent at 3.30. I am out of pocket as I was going to stay down there this weekend so now have to do 2 trips but I really can not be bothered to argue with them. I shall just have to chalk it up to experience and hope that this tent is alright - its first outing will be out mini meet at York  but I will have another practice pitch in the garden first on a nice weekend to check all the bits are there.

Good luck with it - its a bit annoying when you had told them you needed it for today though. Lets hope everything is present and ship shape.

Too many to remember all of them, but

A Twenty year old Napoli Ridge tent six man. Cost next to nothing and has never leaked or torn.

An Argos large two man dome tent, also twenty years old never leaked or torn.

All three Argos tipis

Vango Aspen

Pharaoh 6 (although that could be doubled)

Unknown tunnel tent six man (ebay bargain)?

Unknown four man dome tent another (ebay bargain)?

I never sell tents as they get no money second hand and are better kept for emergencies. (arn't they)

At the moment I'm looking for something that takes my fancy, but SWMBO says no more.

Looking at Outwell at the moment, but I think that will be in a couple of years when we have actually used some of the others.

-------------
Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
