Hi there
A great campsite halfway between Windemere and Newby Bridge is Park Cliff.
The wardens are really friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble - even entertaining the children!
The site is beautiful, spotlessly clean and well maintained.
No problem with pitch sizes as there are 3 sites for tenting - 1 field with electrics, ! huge fieldwithout and spaces in with the vans.
We went a few years back for one week in the summer and ended up staying all summer and leaving the van there for weekends till end of season (we only live 2 motorway junctions away!)
We're new to camping and have just bought an Outwell Hartford L - but have previously been caravanners.
Have a great time wherever you fit in!!

That looks a nice site, but would cost us £41 a night i'm always told Trevornick is quite expensive, but it's not even costing us as much as that to go there.
