Our sleeping bags are in the airing cupboard under the lowest shelf, our tent is under the stairs & the frame is in the garage. I wouldn't dream of trying to get the tent up in the attic, we've got two roof hatches now where I made an unplanned exit from up there.
Pmsl! I wish I'd seen that. Did you fall right through, or just get stuck with your little foxy legs and tail dangling down?
Hello Fran
Julie & the kids thought it was hilarious too, they came back from her mothers to find me trying to repair my sons bedroom ceiling. I should think their laughter was heard half a mile away.
In answer to your question, I didn't make it right through the ceiling, it's been a few years since I'd have fitted through them rafters, lol.

That happened to my friend's dad. The poor sod had one leg either side though - mega ouch!

can you buy wheelie bins from places like B and Q or do you have to say nicely to the council men "please can you lend me a wheelie bin for my tent" lol
DIY stores sell them, but I doubt if they do one big enough for our Excelsior!
I don't fancy your chances of getting one from the council. Our council won't even give you a bin for your rubbish, the tightwads!
