Jammi,
Thank you for re-offering the second Cabanon and providing the great picture of it. Spare Cabanon parts are easy to get. Caseys are a Cabanon dealer who stock clips etc
John Preece,
Hope you find it suitable. Good Luck and happy camping.
Incidentally, we put the sticking plasters on the hole in the tent just has a temporary measure nearly 7 years ago (I know that because we upgraded to a 6 birth when we had our second child, who is now nearly 7 himself). They don't make sticking plasters like that anymore do they - currently ones don't even stick to skin ;)
The holes that the plasters covered were actually made a sharp object that I had sticking out of my trailer - it pierced the tent canvas onetime when we packed it into the trailer.

Ah, the tents hold memories, eh?
Your gesture to help newbies experience camping under canvas, as well as benefitting children's charities, is commendable.
I hope the new owners make some good memories of their own.
(P.S. I agree with your comments on modern day sticking plasters, though can't claim I fondly recall having all my hairs ripped out when the 'good' ones were whipped off! )
I have already started my collection of memories. I took 7 kids (my nephews and nieces) for a weekend away and they all loved it. Having the Aruba made things so much comfier expecially as it was very cold at night.
They keep asking when I will take them again!! What have I let meyself in for!!!
hi if this does not manage to go to a good home could you please give me an oppurtunity, we have a huge tent which cant fit on many sites and now my hubby cant come away with us next week which means i will not manage this tent on my own or with the help of my 11 yr old. first time campers!!!. and i have been looking at investing in a smaller tent but with the high prices at the min a cheap weekend is turning into a exspensive one.
sorry dont mean to give a sob story but was really looking forward to camping with the 3 kids.
or if there is anyone else reading this who wants to sell a tent cheap enough or even better donate. i live in warrington and would not mind travelling.
I have not heard from John preece since he emailed me to say he couldnt come as first arraged. I am hoping he will turn up tomorrow but not mailed me to say he is.
If he doesnt turn up tomorrow I will rethink things.
We would be interested in this tent.We are the Mersey Heritage trust and run a volunteer project on a tallship in the Albert dock Liverpool. We often take young people away to reenactment (living history)events where we dress in period costume fire muskets etc. This tent would be used for accomodation for these events I hope this would still be within the original terms of the gift. Please send details and we will respond right away, and would collect this weekend.
