The side and front doors both have a zipped in mesh panel. The side opposite the door is all window - not opening so no mesh. There are loads of vents around the top - all insect proofed with mesh and a large zipped, guyed one at the back.

As far as pitching is concerned it's very easy as only 2 steel poles and the fiberglass ones I found very easy to fit. I did struggle with the rings & pins as ideally it should have 2 people to pitch it and I seemed to spend ages running from side to side!! I always find tents with a sig more tricky to pitch than those without but I think I'm very much in the minority there! No idea as to how long it took though - probably longer than most people would take but I tend to fiddle a lot and stop for a cuppa half way!! It will get quicker with time I'm sure!  I also do not like pitching with the inner tent attached and of course it's always like that from the factory. When I take it down I will remove the inner so making pitching easier next time (if not any quicker).

Hope that helps - I'd certainly recommend this tent - still can't believe what a huge living area it has for a 3 berth! And the windows are fantastic - just hope when I use it on a site I get a good view!!

Thanks for that.

No Dave - they didn't come with the tent - they are adjustable king poles - I bought a couple from Charlies Direct - they are really useful for all sorts of tents as you can have them at varying heights - great for playing around with tarps too. Just looked and they still have them here

Hi Anne, we were lucky enough to buy the Carolina M from Go when it was on offer at £150 plus footprint and carpet at half price it was a one week only sale. We had popped in to Go Outdoors for a nosy and a table but really couldn't resist the Carolina at that price. This weekend is our first weekend away with the Carolina we are going to Old Station Holiday Park at Masham, just hope the weather holds.
