My wife is petrified of moths, last year we had a Poplar Hawk Moth on the doorway of the tent, these beasts are HUGE 10cm wingspan!! yikes that was one large moth
I found a Tiger Moth catapilar in the garden last week It was massive measured in at 6cm and really FAT and hairy,this is another big moth. I captured it (saved it from my cat) and put it in a empty fishtank withs some leaves and twigs. It has just started to pupate, my 2 year old daugher loves it, we have called it george! (after peppa pigs brother! - LOL) my wife did not approve!!
