I love the ideas that are coming through, but someone would need to think about patents before the idea gets snaffled by one of the bigger companies!
I would like a heated tent carpet, and the idea about the electric sleeping bags make sense. It's easier to heat the immediate area around a body than a whole space where the heat leeches straight out through the fabric.
Maybe we should also be thinking about the fabric of a tent...a space blanket is very light weight but has super insulating qualities. It's too crinkly and dark but since tent fabrics are multiple layers of coatings I'm sure an insulating, extremely thin layer, could be incorporated into them.
The electric sleeping bag wouldn't be too hard to achieve, we already have electric blankets and even electric padded jackets and gloves. I'd buy one for sure!
