We use a halogen heater which gives the advantage of a light source too!

My OH feels the cold, he blames it on the lack of hair, so I was thinking of adding a gas heater to my camping shopping this year. We don't use EHU so what gas heaters would you recommend please?

my hubby has the same problem. he wears a hat to compensate for being follically challenged.

gas heating will add to condensation problems and the tent needs to be well ventilated... we're taking mini hot water bottles instead of a heater they were the usual price from Poundland.

Find a gas heater that uses the same gas as your stove to save carrying separate spare canisters. Also consider a gas lamp they give out 800e of heat in addition to lighting up the tent.

Heaters make a huge difference. I bought a remote control one so I can put it on from bed before I get out! Also have an Etna which I will be trying out at Easter.
Which heater do you have please? I like the idea of remote control as it would be me that would have to get out to switch it on!

I have a remote control Delonghi ceramic heater which I got off e-bay really cheap last summer. I think there are quite a few reomote control models and Lidl did one last year quite cheap.

 Hi to you all.

I used to use a heater but found they cause so much condensation, Over the past year i now use a couple of hot water bottles..No extra condensation, perfect.

Now that said.i did camp near to a family  useing a black cat heater.they had it on for a hour each night and once the family were in bed it was switch`d off..........They never seem to have wet windows or steam ...........perhaps the answer is the better the heater the less condensation..
