Always love a BBQ when camping, tend to take meat from home in the coolbox for the day after we arrive as we usually have takeaway the first night, depending on how far we've travelled and what time we arrive. Pork steaks with a diane sauce and new potatoes is a personal favourite, always have a Camping Stew, my son loves this one - tinned stewed steak, tinned carrots, tinned peas, tinned new potatoes. Always have a risotto too. We sometimes take a cooked chicken with us courtesy of asda or morrisons or buy one if there's one locally. Cook a couple of packs of the dried pasta, chicken and mushroom flavour and then add the chopped chicken and some bacon, lovely! We always take our 'George Formby' with us, you can't beat bacon and cheese paninis for breakfast or dinner. Five weeks on Saturday to our first trip of the year, can't wait!!
