My hubby snores like nothing you have heard before, its horrendeous!! hes had an operation, tried everything going that there is to buy, and absolutly nothing works! he keeps us all awake every night and it drives us insane, that is the worst noise i would want to hear on a camp site. Because of this we decided it would not be fare on other campers (and us!) for my hubby to come camping, but me and our kids wanted to camp so we decided that we would do it without hubby at night times. To do this he spends the days with us as a family, and then either comes home (if near enough) to sleep or goes in a cheap hotel nearby the camp site to sleep.
We have thought of other people on the camp site as it isnt fare to keep everyone else awake with your snoring, and at least this way we are all happy, well happyish as im kept awake by other snorers! Although the last times ive been camping its the dogs barking and drunk people keeping us awake more rather than snorers.
Although my hubby would like to come and sleep on a camp site so we have thought about getting him a little tent next year and pitching it very far from everyone else, if the camp site would let us, but if i explain why im sure they wouldnt mind finding him a corner where no one else will go! lol

Apart from earplugs, there is nothing you can do.
It is natural and not like someone is playing loud music etc.
On non marked pitches, it helps not to be pitched guyline to guyline so to speak.
Try not to concentrate on the snoring sounds and they will be less irritating :)

I agree with Angie, ear plugs are really the only thing to do, think we are all guilty of it at times and short of asking someone to move their tent away from yours (not entirely reasonable) then it's ear plugs all round.

Was wondering has he tried the C-Pap machine, a friend of mine husband uses one as it was the only thing that helped, he now does not go away anywhere without it.
