Snorers don't know that they are snoring - but always apologies for it. How they can sleep emitting that racket is beyond me!

Ste snores, badly - our dog Barney, he snores like a human its sooo loud.

Made him (Ste) wear nosestrips. They work when on tight. Failing that I nudge him awake - sod it - if im awake he can be too noisy arse!

I have quite bad asthma which, when teamed with hayfever, leads me to snore like a quite large farm vehicle. So i'm told. I never hear it, i'm always asleep.

The missus says that between me and the dogs it's like sleeping on an airstrip. She bought earplugs off ebay and has never looked back.

My hubby snores like nothing you have heard before, its horrendeous!!  hes had an operation, tried everything going that there is to buy, and absolutly nothing works! he keeps us all awake every night and it drives us insane, that is the worst noise i would want to hear on a camp site.  Because of this we decided it would not be fare on other campers (and us!) for my hubby to come camping, but me and our kids wanted to camp so we decided that we would do it without hubby at night times. To do this he spends the days with us as a family, and then either comes home (if near enough) to sleep or goes in a cheap hotel nearby the camp site to sleep.

We have thought of other people on the camp site as it isnt fare to keep everyone else awake with your snoring, and at least this way we are all happy, well happyish as im kept awake by other snorers!   Although the last times ive been camping its the dogs barking and drunk people keeping us awake more rather than snorers.

Although my hubby would like to come and sleep on a camp site so we have thought about getting him a little tent next year and pitching it very far from everyone else, if the camp site would let us, but if i explain why im sure they wouldnt mind finding him a corner where no one else will go! lol

My OH snores like a train, drives me bats. In fact when we bought a new tent our girls stated with stamped feet that they wanted one with vis-a-vis sleeping arrangements and not a side by side jobbie coz th'old man keeps 'em awake.

So sorry to everyone who's next to us in advance. We are quite considerate campers, I've had the same batteries in my radio for 5 years!

To be honest, snores don't bug me that much. It's the loud laughing at midnight that bakes me noodle.

Apart from earplugs, there is nothing you can do.

It is natural and not like someone is playing loud music etc.

On non marked pitches, it helps not to be pitched guyline to guyline so to speak.

Try not to concentrate on the snoring sounds and they will be less irritating :)

Angie

I agree with Angie, ear plugs are really the only thing to do, think we are all guilty of it at times and short of asking someone to move their tent away from yours (not entirely reasonable) then it's ear plugs all round.

Was wondering has he tried the C-Pap machine, a friend of mine husband uses one as it was the only thing that helped, he now does not go away anywhere without it.
