All this talk about tents catching on fire has started me thinking about where we all stand in relation to the increasingly popular use of log burners in bell tents.
First of all, are these allowed on sites where open fires are banned, and secondly do we now all need to take out fire insurance in case a neighbouring bell tent showers us with wood sparks?
I think I will certainly be camping well away and upwind of any bell tents with chimneys in future
