Well arrived safely at Bobbybees in the pourung rain. Just got on with pitching the tent without many harsh words, and beleive it or not we didnt forget a thing.

Now the site, We havent been there before but at £5 each per night wasnt expecting a great deal, however huge field for tents, unfortunately the wet stuff had turned some of it into a quagmire, but thats half the fun.

Now I know it was bank Holiday weekend, but OMG it was very full but plenty of spce so we weren't on top of each other. The facilties really need to be increased, 2 gents toilets & 1 shower, 5 ladies tolets with 2 showers, I went for a shower at 7am, but noticed the queue at 9am was very long.

I realise to add a couple more facilities would probably increase the daily rate but having seen how many tents/caravans/ and a couple of motorhomes, it shows it is a very popular site.

All said we had a really great weekend, and Bobbybees will no doubt become a regular visit for us

Hi andyb  well im also at royal umpire and having just  arrived today have put my tent up in the muddiest soggy pitch I have ever used... In fact friends who were also camping with me refused to put tent up and have gone home.  So can only hope weather will improve.
