Noise is so subjective, and what is fine to one person is always going to be a problem for someone else.

Personally I have poor tolerance for noise, but after a summer of assorted types of noise I can now say I would rather hear a TV or radio at a level loud enough for me to enjoy the programme, rather than a low constant drone that is just noise because it's not loud enough for me to hear what's being said! But never again do I want to be lay in bed with my 9 year old, listening to someone else's TV blaring out intimate details of teenage sexual health! ( I made my child go under her covers with my phone playing music to try to protect her innocence and she was worried that she would be disturbing other people with music playing, bless her!)

Low voices don't bother me, but loud drunken talking late into the night makes me want to kill. And car alarms. OMG the car alarms!

im with you on this if you want to watch TV stay home i mean thats why theyve invented sky plus catch up tv tv on demand etc so why do you need to watch it in a tent or is your addiction so bad . Get a life and stop being so ignorant of others .

if we'd come along to what ever most did for holidays before camping ? and said well from now on because we want to do it but dont like how you spend your time so thats got to change there'd be hell on   . i wouldnt go to spain and exspect quiot by 11 but i dont go camping and exspect partying till 2am . im not talking quiot chatting im talking the drunken kakling woman and the loud gobby husbands who thing shouting across the site at 2am is fine . dont get me started on the music

camping hasnt just been invented many of us have done it all our lives so why should we fit round the noise few ?surely it should be the other way round .

and dont say go to an adults only site we have kids and if it possible for a packed national trust site to go quiot after 11pm then why should it be a problam else where . if you want to party choose a site for that dont lie to the own of a site or pretend you didnt see the rules . We choose our sites carefully so why carnt every one else .
