As for cereals, the first time we went camping it chucked it down with rain all week and everything felt damp including the cereal boxes, so now we take the little ones for our 5 yr old (he prefers cereals to cooked breakfast) and I also take cereals for me and hubby but in the plastic store and pour containers, The contents of a standard box fits inside perfectly.

2013
March - Pooley Bridge (Pod booked!)
May - Spiers House, Pickering
June - La Garangeoire, Vendee, France
Aug - The Cotswolds?
We just do Orange or Apple juice, Bacon baps with Tomato sauce, fresh brewed coffee for me and pot of tea for the wife, finished off with some fresh fruit.
I start with organic muesli with added pine nuts accompanied by reduced fat yoghurt..Then for dessert I have bacon, sausage, fried bread, tomatoes, 2 fried eggs, 4 rounds of toast with thick lashings of full fat butter and if still feeling a little peckish 2 black puddings.
I can add croissants or cheese on toast to the variation now that I have a Outback Stove Top Oven.

My trial dish was a pasta bake, and it turned out better than expected, once I had the lid slightly ajar in order to get a bit of browning on the top.
One needs to remember not to heat the oven up with the lid firmly in place, as it is difficult to remove it from the base when hot. Learnt that one the hard way here.
A good piece of kit as it means I can heat up a couple of croissants or make toad in a hole/pasta bake etc...

Oh what a great piece of equipment. I must look further into this!! Your pasta dish looks scrumptious. Do you think you would be able to cook a smalish pizza in one of these?

Pizza is mentioned in the cook book that came with it I believe. You should be able to fit a 8in single person pizza in it for certain.
