Like others I have forgotten at different times

Cooking Oil
Mallet
Tool for letting down the steadies
Corkscrew/bottle opener

Just fitting out our new folding caravan packing up to leave Friday so yes will probably forget something. Trying to make sure I have a separate caravan kit so I can never forget anything!

Left tent poles on second camping trip, much to the delight of the site warden, to be fair I'd have found it pretty amusing too.

but funniest of all...we got halfway down the country once when OH realised he had forgotten all of his insulin

This is exactly the reason I make it abundantly clear to my OH that he is in charge of sorting his meds. I dont touch them. I pack everything else for him, but he knows he does his insulin and other meds himself.

He did once forget needles, but managed to pick some up from a pharmacy without too much fuss.

One camping trip, my husband was going to accompany us but changed his mind so I had to unpack his stuff at the last minute. That was my excuse when we got to the campsite and realised that none of us had any clean underwear at all as I'd left that bag at home with hubby's clothes.

There's some items you don't ask a neighbour or the site owner if you can borrow!
