Lookie here or on the Esvo site here

Angie

Is it just me that finds these windbreaks vaguely kinky? All they need is a little red strip light along the top of each panel....17

Kinky?  Val I am shocked at you lol

I do see what you mean though :)

Isabella do one that really looks like windows. Perfect for a peepng Tom? lol

we use 2 x 8 pole windbreaks (red, blue, yellow). we do this for privacy. i dont really care what other people think because its my camping trip & i dont mind what other campers setup.

the only thing that bothers me when camping is incosiderate people ie noisey ones at night.

17  I'm with the aldreds! (sounds like a tv show!)

And I don't think it's naive to expect privacy & a bit of peace & quiet. Obviously TOTAL privacy is out (we're not daft) but as much privacy as you want, & can have is helped by a windbreak. We just got ours delivered yesterday - thanks to everyone for providing lots of reason for having them - including a few which hadn't previously occurred to me !

ps: they're stripey too- so there !!!

I personally don't mind if someone wants to totally enclose their pitch with windbreaks and send out the "keep away" vibes - maybe they enjoy camping but want some peace and privacy - who am I to judge?

I forgot to take our stipey windbreak on our last trip and I really struggled to cook tea until hubby attatched a spare tarp between the tent pole and the king pole - the immediate difference it made was amazing - windbreak is definately getting packed next trip.

OP asked for opinions and so we were bound to get a vast array of views - the world would be a very boring place if we all camped/cooked/worked/liked/did the same things so I say live and let live.
There is no right or wrong way of doing things - just do what works for you.

Since no-one else has said it - there are windshields you can buy just for stoves which certainly decrease the cooking time.  Using a large windbreak for the same effect is a little overkill?
