I am abit obsessive about keeping the tent tidy!

We have an outwell wardrobe in the bedroom with a pop up laundry basket for dirty washing.

In the living area, I have a Kampa Hollie cupboard - ideal for towels and hoodies.

I have a rail of hooks which coats go on.

We use foldable crates for shoes.

I clean the kitchen first thing each morning, tidying up OH's destruction and putting everythign away. Pots are washed as we use them generally, and rubbish is cleared each morning too.

My fella gets wound up with my tidying all the time!!

I hope you're not pitched next to us at FfF, you'll show us up

Seriously, I do like to keep the tent reasonably tidy, and do start off really well. We tend to have two buckets or baskets for clean/dirty pots in the kitchen, shoes have their own corner of the tent, clothes are in a low larder in our bedroom on a long trip or stay in holdall on shorter trip, we also have a tall larder in living area for 'bits and pieces' including towels, magazines, radio, etc.

Our tent became a lot tidier and more organised once we bought a camp cupboard. It's not a huge one, but it works for us. I also use good old shopping bags and lidded crates.

The other thing that helped was giving our 2 kids their own sleeping pod rather than sharing.

Got a new tent(Vango Samara) this year, which we've not used yet so we'll see how we go with the extra storage pockets.

Mine is usually fine for a whole five minutes after we've finished pitching, then whirlwind 5 year old hits and I give up. Clothes go in outwell Domingo wardrobe, fine for a weekend suspect a week might be more problematic esp as I over pack clothes. Have a collection of bags for life which double as take to the shower bags and laundry. Towels go over one of the drying rails. Coats are hung on front room drying rail on coat hangers. Inhalers and chargers and oddments go in the mesh pockets on the front of the bedroom.

Tidy tent? Easy.
* Take less - much less - stuff.
* Camp by yourself.
* Store stuff in the car not the tent.
* Eat in cafes and pubs.
* Wear the same clothes all week.

Defo camp in your own, it's the others that make the mess.     Honest

We take a bag each for clothes and keep at the end or side of bed (depends where the space is )

Dirty's go in plastic bags back inside clothes bag.

Foot ware put in large trug by the tent door, spares in car boot.

Dry food in picnic basket, fresh in cool box, kitchen stuff in plastic draws or boxes.
( No un-packing )

Beds are tidied-up before we go out.

Can't live in a mess for holiday, would never relax lol.

My dh is very tidy so that helps a lot (no picking up after )   Also my granddaughter who always comes with us (7yrs old) likes to do a little tidying, trouble is we can never find stuff after

I've been scouring carboots lately for sports bags to pack everything into as we had a test camp a few weeks ago and found we struggled to get it all in the car and the roofbox. Managed to get 8 all brand new in one day for only a £1 each!
So the hard crates have been ditched and its all going into squishy sports bags, we then each had 1 of these bags for clothes and hang anything up that is likely to get creased once the tent pitched.
I would love a wardrobe or storage unit but just simply haven't got room so we took a think cane with us and hooked it from one of the strongest poles which had velcro attachments and voilą somewhere to hang the clothes from, we used hooks to save space not coathangers.
We unpack all the kitchen gear and transfer it to foldable flat crates.
All perishables go into zipped food cupboard under cooking stove in kitchen area. (this is the one storage unit that we have to have).
We use a trugg for all our dirty dishes etc. The trugg is great to pack as it can be squished, but we normally fill it with stuff when packed in car anyway.
Purchased a pop up bin for rubbish.
We hang coats over the back of our foldable chairs, great way to dry them out as well if its raining outside.
Dirty clothes go into a separate carrier bag.
Cutlery lives in a bacon box, utensils live in a enamel large jug and plates etc go under cooking unit on shelves.

you are all putting me to shame. I am a solo camper with 2 dogs and live in a rabble while camping. I have a corsa with a roof box and still dont have space for a passenger. I use everything I take and have more storage than i know what to do with. I will try to keep a photo diary when I am away next week to Aviemore. Following my mum and dad up there and they have offered to take some stuff in their car!!!! They are in an appartment while I "ruff it" lol

Always photograph the tent as soon as you get it set up, before the clutter appears.
