I'm with armchair on this one! Your wife does not look chuffed at all!!
At least it was a clean, smoke free tent on this occasion!! Not lying sunbathing trying to dry out!
It looks fine though! It even matches the George tent. Perfect for a wee weekender at the squirrel!

Krazy, I was impressed by your mess tin (was it yours or Jim's?) so have gone and ordered a couple for Knoydart. Cheaper than the fancy MSR system I was eyeing up.

I was in Glasgow the other day and came home with a stainless steel mess tin similar to Jim's...Got one small MSR mess tin...And want more of them...But never have the pennies handy when the urge to own other MSR's strikes....
Even went as far as having my initials etched on the things...So no more losing them when I forget to bring them back from the dishwashing areas...

It was more than just a mess tin I had my eye on.
Thought this might save space in the car.
If it was the oval shaped steel mess tin, it was mines-handy bit of kit and cheaper than the MSR stuff! It is British Army issue. I've had it for years and it still looks like new!
