Glyn

We find that in the summer months our Blackcat is excellent at warming the tent up ,especially when my dissabled mum comes too ,only to be used for an hour or so at a time though ,always turn off if you feel sleepy ,never sleep wit hit on and ensure good ventilation .

In the winter months we take an EHU and a halgoen heater which we leave on low all night ( has a safety cut out ) A lot of people manage with just a gas heater all winter but I have a circulatory problem which means I get a lot of pain if I am in a cold atmosphere and dont feel anyone should be denied the joys of camping in the winter months ( when I believe the earth looks at its most stunning ) just because of dissabilites .Camping aint just for the able bodied!

Hope some of that helps.

As we cant delete posts ourselves ,can everyone repost their answers for Glyn ? feel really sorry for him trying to get through all this lot!

Why don't we do an FAO for him and post the answers there?

Hijacking a thread is so rude!

Yet another thread ruined by arguing and talk of how we are trashing the environment. If someone wants to heat their unit, then let them.  The tinest amount of pollution caused is not an issue if it means keeping warm.

Time to close this one now.

Cheers  Ratty

Hey Rex , maybe we should buy a tree or 'ofset ' our emissions ?

Can we get back on track ,I left an answer for poor Glyn and another for Steve and they seem to have been swallowed up now ;)

Hi scatty.
Yes I have been concerned about my emissions over the last few years, But my doctor as told me to keep on taking the pills and cut down on oriental food and beans.
Rex
