1 to buy a bigger car, probably an estate

2 to buy a roof box to fit the new car

3 to buy a trailer to tow behind the new car

4 never to visit another camping shop

Already done it!!! Bought the roof box after our first camping trip, bought the trailer before the second and then went out today and bought a Ford Galaxy.  As for visiting another camping shop, we're off to Highbridge tomorrow to sort out the problems with our faulty Outwell!!!!!!!!!!!

I've learnt that the whole family love camping as much as me. We can't get enough.

We have to get a bigger car or trailer or roofrack or both, or maybe leave hubby behind as I can't fit him in only He is invaluable to try to get our tent up from the inside...I can't reach up high enough.

Visiting new campsites while you're away elsewhere is always worthwhile. We've found some gems while popping in on the offchance.

A bucket can be very useful, and a sence of humour is invaluable.

Hmmmm...........

Things I've learnt this year ......

Make sure the roof box you buy is definately big enough first time!!

There's always a bigger better tent you like!

The initial cost can be quite alot for equipment.

I love gadgets!!

I'm addicted and want to get away more next year.

I need to sell the Sunncamp so I can store the Outwell!

We learned in 2006 that camping is no longer for us.

It started to wane a bit in 2005, but died a complete death in 2006.

We went loads of times in the previous years. We'd both be really excited getting home from work, loading up the gear and heading off for the weekend. But this year, was very different. It just didnt' "grip" us at all, we just coudln't be arsed with it. We didn't go once, and didn't miss it or yearn for it either.

Despite visiting camping shops/shows, we did not rekindle the camping bug. I think  the novelty wore off and our enthusiasm for it burned out.  I think it may be all over for us, campingwise.  I'll see how we feel in the spring, but at this moment in time I'd say it's over.

Never say never, we have been at it for years and there is always something different for us, maybe you should just sack camping for a year or two and not ewven think about it.
Book yourself some all inclusive deals or beach holidays and then re think it after that....

some times its good to have a change I mean you always have the same friends but your interests change and you grow out of them but they are still your friends.....

Your still welcome to come and chat with us here even if you dont camp...

keep safe huggles

I've learnt to keep the camping gear together, even if it means buying two lots of everything you normally steal from the house.

And this year I didn't start early enough. Roll on the first spring sunshine!
