We bought a backup coleman dual fuel dual burner at a car boot sale yesterday, has anyone else got any new goodies for the season? We also got some little diddy wind up torches from decathlon that produce quite good light.

Just been starting to make a list for things to take with us at Easter. We are camping on a site which allows open fires so I am tempted to invest in a £25 fire pit from Asda. Have just bought a battery operated shower but cant see me using it in April, its possibly a bit chilly to shower in the toilet tent!

Heating: Thermals/hw bottles/snuggies and blankets/fleece sleeping bag liners. Will also take the parabolic heater for the gas bottle but dont use it much. Mind you it is cold here tonight!

Cooking: Big double burner stove and suitcase stove (handy for a quick cuppa).

Lighting: Gas lamp, UFO light and head torches. If its really cold we will get tucked up in bed early and read with head torches.

Food storage: Old fashioned cool box/bag. Have looked at various other options but they seem expensive and we always manage.

Other: Phones etc dont get used while we are away. We have 12v pump for air beds but take foot pump too (after one trip when our neighbours insisted on blowing their airbeds up every night at 11pm and we realised how noisy it was!).

Getting excited now, not long to go!
