Winter:

Before we went EHU, this was enough for us... but it was still bloody cold out there!!



So we set up EHU, and now tend to go for something a little more comfortable...

...and this is it...


Nothing outside!
Just a kettle, and some instant pasta pots, instant porridge, and cup-a-soups.
Should that prove inadequate, a pub meal will normally beckon! :-)




Late spring/early autumn:
Usually something more akin to this sort of thing...


Or at a push, this sort of set up, with a table, a large lidded box crockery, large utensils, etc. A tupperware type sandwich box for small utensils/cutlery/bottle opener/corkscrew etc. Another large lidded box for pots/pans, and other girly stuff!!, and a small tub what we like to call "The cupboard under the sink"... wipes, dish clothes and sponges, spare hand gel, bin liners etc.




For a full on proper holiday, of which we've had three, so far, we did this at Conifer Lake...



Something similar by La Dordogne...



And most recently, this, in The Vendee...




Table cloth's!!!... I know, Darling! Divine, aren't they!!



To be fair, neither of us are cooks, be that skill-wise or effort-wise!!

We'll occasionally do a simple brekky...


Or "A mixed Grill" (Can't be ar5ed with barbies)...


But on the whole, the nearest we get to cooking is warming up tinned stuff, be it curry, chilli, chicken in white wine sauce etc, along with packet rice, or tinned new potatoes!!

Much prefer having someone else to do it for us, in all honesty, so pub meals are getting more and more popular, as this camp-cooking novelty wears off!

PS:
IMPORTANT: We have upgraded our crockery since that last photo, and now have some of that fancy shock-proof Luminarc stuff, in a very tasteful blanc, purchased in one of yer actual French superMarché's!! Just sayin'!!
