Good morning campers, can any one tell me the cheapest place to get a electric hook up from?We would like the 3 or 4 one, allso what sort of things can you run of it at the same time. All iam thinking of is a kettle, fan heater, toaster and lamp. Many thanks for reading this hope you can help.Carole
you won't be able to run all items at the same time unless they are low voltage otherwise u will trip the electric, the cheapest place i've seen the hookup lead for sale is Towsure, i think it was about 55 pounds and has the built in trip switch, they have a web site, log onto www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.towsure.com

sorry to correct you vicky but you mean low power (watts) which by definition means low current (amps). The voltage is fixed and needs to be the standard uk mains i.e. 230V ac.
Please do not connect anything Low Voltage into an EHU unless you want to see sparks.

Many sites won't let you use a standard extension lead. Has to have RCD circuit breaker etc. Go for a proper job from Towsure or a reputable camping supplier.

We must be experts - we are out standing in our chosen fields!
My advice is to get a proper EHU, not a made up domestic job on the cheap. Expect to pay around £55 for a 3 gang set up with RCD and circuit breaker - on about 20m of arctic grade cable. Gooutdoors have them on offer. Be safe!
Oh dear - that didn't take you to the page I was on! From here go to the 'shop' button on the left and click accessories. It's there on the right hand side of the page.
