I was stupidly rushing to pack the tent in the bag on Sunday and put too much strain on the zip and it broke!! In my defense we were packing up a day early as we had just heard OHs nan had died. So we were rushing back to help with arrangements. Will I be able to get a replacement bag from Outwell? Also when we were putting the tent up we found the porch pole had snapped! It was perfectly OK when we packed away last time and the pole bag has been stored sensibly and not dropped or any thing. I assume I contact the camping shop rather than Outwell regarding a replacement? Sorry to waffle on,thanks Claire

I also have kinda burst my bag, it still works but the stiching has come away from the zip!! Sounds like yours may be worse, can it not shut at all?
We also bent a pole in the wind??
I have also got to say the porch pole is just not very sturdy is it??
I am sure you will get replacments tho, I phoned Outriggers in Dunferline and the have a replacement pole for me.
The plus points were we where camping in north west scotland and survived!!

irn bru, the bag zips up to a certain point but only about 1 quarter way round. This means that the tent is sticking out and I'm worried about ripping it next time we pack the car. Glad to hear you had a good respose over the tent pole, hopefully I'll be as lucy, Claire

If you can't get a replacement, try PRICELess shoe shops. They do enormous wheeled holdalls for a tenner, I bought a pink one a few weeks back, I'm sure its as big, maybe even bigger than the tent bag.

Thanks Debbie, that sounds like a good option as we are hoping to go away fairly soon (weather permitting) and I'm sure that will be less hassle than getting a replacement, Claire

Thanks, does anyone else know anything about this? I'll try looking on the outwell website and see what I can find out, Claire
