We have recently been practising pitching our tent which we brought new last year (Campus - Oregon), as it is a large tent we thought it would be a good idea to try putting it up a couple of times before we take it on holiday with the kids. The instructions with the tent are not the best but despite this we have done fairly well. My question to anyone who may have this tent is this, once all the ring and pins have been attached and the one side pegged down, we then pull the fly away from the pegged side and the body of the tent begins to come up. Our problem is that only the centre is rising and not the two ends, they still flap about. Is this correct and should we just use the guy ropes to firm up the two ends? or are we doing something wrong? We have not been camping for quite some time and we now have two kids and a large tent to cope with, so I am anxious to put the thing up correctly. Any help would be much apprectiated.
