Hya Have been a wandering around camping shops this weekend and have come accross these lovely tent carpets made by Outwell.  Are these a new thing this season ?  Does anyone know if vango are doing them and if so where can I get one.  Failing that does anyone the Diablo equivilent in the Outwell range.  My hubby seems to think its the Hartford XL.   Cheers  x x x

Hi

We spotted those carpets today too.  I think the Hartford XL is similar to the Diablo.

I wasn't overally keen though, if they get wet they are going to start smelling quite quickly.  I normally just put a few travel blankets down and if we are on the site for more than a week, they can just be thrown in the washing machine on site.

Hi, I just Emailed AMG-group today with the same question so I'll let you know what they say.

I was in a camping shop in Dunfermline today and saw the internal carpets for the Outwell range. I asked the guy behind the counter if he knew if Vango were making them and he said that this was Outwells 2nd season selling these carpets and that when one brand comes up with a good idea it's usually not too long before the rest of them jump onto the idea.

We use travelling rugs too but with 3 kids running around it ends up looking like a total bombsite. A carpet would be a good idea!

We have the vango diablo900xp and have bought the hartford xl carpet for it, whilst it is not an edge to edge fit, it is good enough for us and was lovely for the baby to crawl around on and the rest of us too.  If you have to purchase 4 or 5 picnic rugs at £5 that is halfway to something that fits better??

hello all, I emailed vango a few weeks back regarding carpet for my aspen 700dlx - vango replied very quickly but unfortunately they have no plans to produce carpets for the current range of tents, however they did state that they are considering producing them for future model designs..I looked at the outwell carpets but none were a good fit and at around £50 a bit expensive and green! - I want blue, so I got 4 blue tesco pvc backed picnic blankets and sewed them together on the sewing machine, cost just under £24, although doesn't fit the floor space entirely its a lot better than the odd picnic blankets we had been using and it also fits our other tent as well!..
