Im sure you and the kids will love it. My son used to even after a bad experience with weather and a kite that nearly took him away!  (i didnt have panic!)

Were about to restart camping after many years and were buying on the strength of what people have said here.

I changed my mind from electric lighting to gas lantenr specifially to help count a chilly evening as we had forgotten that it used to get quite cold at times at night and a gas lantern did a great job of lighting and heating.

it's never too cold it's just that you haven't got enough layers of clothes on ,don't worry all the family will love it, good luck
