wonder if you can help?

Im looking for some sleeping bags of got my eye on vango nitestar 250 and was wondering if anybody has any reviews about them or any other sleeping bags that you recommend?

I bought the vango mummies and found them a bit restrictive...but i have big shoulders. My Mrs is ok in the 350 but i think i will get a square one or maybe take the quilt as it warms up abit...my advice is to buy a square one

The kids and i all have Vango Astrals. I love mine and i have never heard a word of complaint from the kids about theirs. I really like the lining as well.

I bought these when we started camping and they've lasted 3 years so far. The kids didn't want Mummies as they both seem to move around a lot when sleeping, though luckily not so far as the next tent.

Val is quite right to say that mummy bags are the warmest and indeed excellent insulators. But having said that we have tried them and find them too restricting, we use readybeds and with the advice of some very useful info from this site, we now have a versatile kit that keeps us warm where ever we go by adding or removing layers as necessary.At the end of the day comfort is the overriding factor for anyone so choose wisely, always a good thing to get inside a potential purchase to try it out. Proper camping shops will let you do this. Happy Camping whatever you decide.

As we've both (the misses and i) had mummy bags and square bags and both like mummy bags over square bags we is gonna stick with the mummy bags and it looks as if we should look at the vango bag judging by how many of you recommend them.
