Last year whilst camping we saw a couple of tents that had a type of awning, a bit like a horizontal sail, that they had pitched over the front of their tents. Does anyone know what these are called and where they are available?
Hope this makes sense quite difficult to describe but they seemed really useful.
Thanks for the replies I knew these had been discussed previously but I couldn't find the thread. There's also a few threads on canopies which gives me some more ideas.
Depends if you want one that fits to you tent. We have two types. Have a look on my gallery. The grey one is a Coleman classic awning which fits most tunnel tents. (Bear in mind it was pulled right back over the tent and flattened down a bit cos of high winds. It should be a bit more tunnel shaped.) The other is the sail type and you get get a similar one called a multisail from www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.riverswayleisure.com
