Last nght i was gonna post a topic on
If anybody knows if a canopy would fit the windsor, but i got nosy and read loads of threads
Well today i nipped into millets and asked them about one,and yes they do one this year,i do have to order it,i shall do this 2moro when i leave work, but i wanted to show OH it [not the same in the book] so i have gone on line and it wont come up.
They did have 1 in the shop but a gent is picking it up on saturday as they had to order it for him,so i dont know why i cant get it up on line.
I do hope when it arrives hubby likes it.
They also do a eurohike windbreak, but that too is not the 1 in the book,so i am not having much sucsess showing hubby what i am spending his money on,

Hi Joanne,
I have just bought the same tent as you, which was a mindfield in itself as I found it had 3 different prices (instore brochure, instore magazine, and online). Just wondered if you could let me know whether the canopy is worth the extra £50, they couldn't even tell me in the shop if it has covered sides or is just a gazebo, and I couldn't find it on line either.
Thanks, Sharon

i am so sorry i did not get back sooner, yes it is well worth the extra it has the sides on it and windows down both sides,it does not show this in the book,so i was really pleased with it and it really does make a differance.
I went into millets and they did not know it had the sides on either,so they can now tell other customers that they are really getting a bargain,
Hope this helps, and it gives about an extra 6 foot on the size of the tent.

Thanks Joanne,
They really are underselling this in the brochure. It looks much better. Why don't the millet's staff know anything? I was even told not to bother ordering anything from the shop but to ring up, as it takes 3 to 4 weeks for them to get a delivery into the store. Shame, it's like a sweet shop when you've just started camping.
Thanks again for the pics.

it took 2 weeks or the canopy to come, and as i said it was well worth every penny,if you have children in the scouts,or students[dont know if school children come under that]but you can get 10%off. i also got the windbrake to match it must be about 10 to 12 foot £19.99.
I think i should work for millets i would love to test all there other things out and then i would be able to keep eveyone informed
