Advice from others on here in the past is NOT to buy anything of that nature from ebay.Sites will not let you use anything "home made" anyway, I have had to show my EHU equipment on more than one site before being allowed to "plug in".
For safety, I would only buy/use official EHU units/leads.
Hope this helps

------------- I have NEVER been lost, though I do admit to spending several hours locationally challenged
More tentage = Campus Sherpa 4 - reproofed and still going strong
In Memorandum = Vango Quest, Khyam Chatsworth, and a frame tent OH wouldn'try!!!!
Typical death trap bodge-up. Where`s the RCD for a start? Don`t waste your money...buy a proper one from a camping shop. You can get a 3 socket one for under £50 these days. Is your life (or that of your child) not worth an extra £35?
Your link didn't work but I found the item anyway.
Do NOT buy this.
It is totally unsuitable for use outdoors. I wish there was a way of stopping these idiots ripping people off, and threatening their safety, with the false claims they make
This is not suitable as a camping EHU. It does not have an RCD and it certainly is not IP44 rated. Do not buy it. A proper hook up will cost at least £50 for a reason
thanks for starting this thread andrea and for the replies people,we bought one similar off ebay for use this year.its getting bined and we`er buying a proper one this weekend.......great forum this !!!!
the4 problem I have found with the EHU;s that you can buy ready made is that they are not IP66.....Whereas I can construct an IP66 complioance one with RCd protection cheaper
