i think best time really is either relly early in morn if poss or wait till 11-3pm cos by then most ppl are out and about  or even after 7pm cos most are in clubhouse (if there is one)

We're new here too and this site is amazing for tips and info.

With 2 small children initially I was thinking of staying at all singing all dancing sites, but the more I think about it, the more the smaller sites appeal - for weekends at least. We ended up getting a portaloo thing, as I don't fancy midnight treks to the loos - would wake the little one up and he won't go back to bed, so will have toilet, but the thing that was really putting me off was lack of shower facilities - now that maplins car shower would fit the bill perfectly!
