Recently bought a Montana 4, just before it was discontinued, and after a trial run in the garden, thought we were ready for a two week trip to Scotland - How wrong we were ! While pitching it in windy conditions we managed to bend one of the leg poles trying to fit the ring and pin into the base. Fortunately no damage to the tent itself.
Any tips - is there an easier way of getting the ring and pins into the pole bases - the tension on the fabric seems increadibly tight?
Also - does anyone know were I can buy a replacement pole (2006 model, D shaped socket) Would a Minnesota pole fit, or has the socket shape changed on the new model?
thanks
Inept of nottinghamshire
ps - other than this slight problem, we can't fault the Montana - Shame outwell got rid of it.
