Hi Jo, I bought one of these (although it is slightly big at 2, x 1.5m)

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/membershop/bd_outhouse.asp

Or there is the Khyam Canopied Windbreak, but do a search on these as I think people had problems using them last year

Hi Jo.

Welcome to the site. Try this link http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/membershop/bd_thehut.asp

If thats not what your looking for then most of the big brands do a 'Dayroom' type tent. The prices start at about £90. They are normally 3m square but are much sturdier than a normal gazebo. Sunncamp also do a smaller utility tent but their website is being reconstructed at the moment so try looking at the on-line retailers.

Good luck

Dave

A note of caution - the Khyam gazebo thingy isn't fully waterproof....

It'll stand a shower, but not pouring pouring rain.

We have a pop up fishing shelter, a small tent really which all our kit is stored in, if you don't need to stand up in it this could be a good cheap way to store things

We're thinking of getting the outwell tarp for weekends when we need extra shelter.

We have a (sadly) long list of options

a) Khyam Screen house to provide large covered communal space when camping with friends

b) The Outhouse (as mentioned above - see pic in profile of outhouse in action as a shower room). It packs really small and goes up quick.

c) Weschel light weight tarp with assorted porch poles nabbed of old tents, which, with wind break, makes a semi covered outdoor space for cooking. (See pic in profile of tarp deployed between 2 tents)

So we can have any and every combination. In fact ,we have worked out that we could create an entire network of connected tents and shelters so we could have a kitchen, a bathroom, bedrooms and a dining room and be able to move between ten under cover! (Wouldn't want to pay the pitch fees for it though!)

Val,

I love the look of the Kyham windbreak/shelter that you posted!  Would you say for a cooking shelter it would be more or as adequate as the outhouse that people on here use?

I was going to get one of the outhouses, but this looks really good, and I like the price!!  Would it stand up to a fortnight break you reckon?

Steve
