We just ahve a nappy bucket with a lid that I empty out in the morning. Only use it occasionally, but worth it on a rainy night. Esp as the rain water sound seems to make me want to go more!

Love the idea of a bucket, although never tried it myself, heard a fantastic tale of someones OH knocking one over in the middle of the night today, HE (obviously) then threw towels over it and wifey then had to spend the next day washing.  Really made me chuckle

I take a nappy bucket & lid, aside from the emergency night loo it has 1001 uses!

don't forget unbreakable  wine/beer glasses - waitrose have a fab range, pricey, but worth every penny! much more civilised than drinking out of plastic beakers & the wine stems unscrew so they pack up even smaller!

Totally off the bucket topic........ lights....... wind-up torches (Lidl, Netto, Aldi - usually about £3.99) are brill and head torches are absolute winners especially if you end up pitching in the dark.

!!!! - I can't believe how many helpful replies I've received!   Thank so much, I like the sound of the wind up torches - wonder if my local Lidl will have them in stock - better check!  Luckily I only work mon, tues, wed so tomorrow I can 'camp shop' all day - or 'shop camply'! 

I've got the plastic decent quality wine 'glasses' already (after the tent they were the next thing on our list!), will look for Zoflora after work today - what a treat!

Oh I'm jealous now! You get to go camp shopping and I am banned....Until the end of the June anyway when I get to buy my new tent (if I ever decide what it's going to be) Good luck with the shopping and enjoy!
