Was planning to go to Wales this week but decided against it as the kids are off school.

Good choice I feel - as I am just over the border in Shropshire and its rained constantly since yesterday.

Think I will save it for the week atfer hoping for slightly better weather.

Lol, yep you are right. I'm in Swansea watching the horizontal rain lashing against the window.

The long range isn't all that promising, but then they have got it wrong before....

Wise choice - if you had already pitched and then it rained thats something else but there is nothing worse than getting to your destination and having to put up a tent in the rain - the rain is set in I think for most of the week!!  Lets hope it clears up by the end so you can get some time away!!!
