Is it just me or is the 'chav' gene pool increasing? A number of our like minded friends are following in our footseps and taking up this camping business in order to try and escape from these inconsiderate mindless zombies.
I'm desparately hoping that joining you lot will give me and my family time away from these sort of people. This country seems so small now!
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for diversity, just not near my pitch thanks. Why are people so inconsiderate these days? What happened to traditional values?
we went to kellingheath last year, The site sounded great nice pool pub on site in the woods and so on, Well the position of the site was really nice and the views from the site stunning, first night we thought we would treat ourselves to a pub meal on site, it was chav city with bad food and bad beer and chavs lapping it up and kids running riot and to top it all we were woken in the night with chavs shouting "who wants a #### then" to be fair the security did eject them and phone for the police but it was not the sort of trip we had planed so choose your site carefully, We will now be staying away from sites with pubs, are we being harsh was this a isolated situation maybe but when you work hard for your weekends away you want to make the best of them and not let some drunken chav ruin it for you!!!

Pick a site that says in it's blurb that it is " not for everybody"... tends to be light on the gum chewingthenspit brigade!
Not necessarily! One of our favourite local sites at Stonethwaite, Borrowdale is a beautiful but very basic site (no showers/shop/marked pitches, barely driveable access road) but for some reason its a magnet for the drinking-and-making-lots-of-noise-until-3am sort. Mostly from Newcastle for some reason (not that I've got anything against Geordies, but perhaps they have some sort of genetic migratory instinct, like Salmon, or Eels and the Sargaso Sea). Haven't been for a little while, but I believe it is being policed a bit more now (ie a warden occassionally turns up) which may help.
