You may want to find a way of stopping the mats sliding on the airbeds though. Will a fitted sheet do the job you think?

just purchased the 'adult camping ready bed' from argos

they do a battery powered air pump with it. inflates the bed in about 1 minute

We are going to buy a high rise airbed for the first time. We will probably go for the coleman.  We have had a few different airbeds in our time, i think the best one was the single ones we used of campingaz.  Its nice having one to yourself so you dont get bounced about during the night.  Often i end up on the edge.

We have been camping for a long time and for the last two seasons we have been sleeping soundly on an Intex queen size double height airbed.  It is awesome, we have dogs that sleep with us on it a night too and there have been no punctures or any issues so far.  Neither me or my other half are afraid of eating a few cream cakes and it doesnt suffer under the strain.  It is also nice to be able to sit on a bed and get up easily without being on the floor level as you are on a normal low level airbed.

I liked the look of the coleman comfort double airbed i must admit, knowing that its like two singles together, but i have just bought a high rise intex airbed so well see how we get on with that first.
